Gregory Allan Lockhart (Pap)

Age 72 of Republic passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, September 25, 2015.  He was born on May 7th, 1943.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents: John and Gladys Sifton Lockhart and a brother Pvt. John Lockhart Jr., also his sister Jean Audrey Sholtis (Lockhart),

He is survived by his wife Barbara Lockhart; two daughters: Kimberly Lockhart her companion Charles Opel Jr. and Renee Lockhart and her companion John Lenkey. Five grandchildren: John Gregory Gordon, Christopher Lockhart, Cory Lockhart, Brandy Lockhart and Emily Opel;  two brothers Lawrence Lockhart and wife Margaret of Wyoming and Dale Lockhart and wife Jeanne of Lemont Furnace; several nieces and nephews; a good friend Tom Wadja; also his faithful dog “Wolfington”.  Greg was a Veteran of the US Navy having served aboard the USS Ship Fred T. Berry during the Cuban Missile Crisis.  He devoted his life to his family and dearly loved them all. He will be sadly missed.

In honoring Greg’s request there will be no public visitation and interment will be private.

• Greg’s professional funeral services have been entrusted to the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA.
