Hazel K. (Ellsworth) Uhler

Hazel K. (Ellsworth) Uhler, age 98, of Fairchance, PA passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 13, 1918 in Uniontown, a daughter of William and Eliza Jane Sutton Ellsworth.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Uhler; 3 sisters: Margaret Martin, Lenora Uhler and Suewila Kotulock; brother, William Ellsworth.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sondra L. Tolbert and her husband, Dale of Hopwood; son, Raymond M. Uhler and his wife Beverly of Hanover, PA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Jane Hartwick and Dolly Moody.

Hazel was an active member with the Fairchance Free Methodist Church and later attended the Abundant Life Church of Uniontown, PA.

Hazel’s family will receive friends in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436 on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. the hour of her funeral service with Rev. George W. McLaughlin, retired from White House Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment to follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

Memorial contributions can be made in Hazel’s name to the White House Free Methodist Church, 2125 Springhill Furnace Road, Smithfield, PA 15478-1429.
