JoAnn (Aretta) Jordon

JoAnn Jordon, of Uniontown, PA on April 24, 2016 at 4:20 PM, became absent from her body and face to face with the Lord.  (2 Corinthians 5:8)

JoAnn was born Oct 16, 1924 at York Run, PA to Chester F. Aretta Sr. and Mary Brensy Aretta.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph.  She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Dago) and wife, Sharon; John, and wife Rena; and her daughters, JoAnn (Sissy) and Julia Keenen, and husband Shawn, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and do not forget, Max the dog.

Mama, as she was known, loved family and gathered them frequently to enjoy her comfort foods, with which she filled the dinner table.  She was a wonderful mother, who raised four children on her own after her husband passed away in 1961.  She was much loved and supported at the end of her life by her loving daughters and sons. 

JoAnn’s remains were cremated and a memorial service/gathering will be held by her family at a later date.

JoAnn’s professional funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., Fairchance, PA.
