Marie Ann (McManus) Budinsky

Marie Ann (McManus) Budinsky, age 83, of Collier, PA went home to be with her Lord and husband on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Fairfields Liberty Hall Personal Care Home, Fairchance, PA. She was born in Washington, PA, a daughter of Bartley F. McManus and Mary Durbin McManus.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony John Budinsky and twelve siblings.

She was a faithful member of Ss. Cyril & Methodious R.C. Church. She was a member of the American Legion and an active member of the Fairchance Georges P.T.A. She took great pride in living on the family farm for sixty years raising eight children and caring for her sister, Bernice.  

Marie is survived by eight children: Tony Budinsky and his wife Nell of Fairchance, Phillip Budinsky and his wife Kimberly of Collier, Joe Budinsky and his wife Carol of Collier, Mary “Cookie” Davis of Collier, Bertha “Bea” Hancheck and her husband Richard of Collier, John Budinsky and his wife Susan of Bobtown, Larry Budinsky and his wife Brenda of Collier, Marie Barnes and her husband Gary of Collier; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brothers: Bill McManus of Dayton, OH, Bartley McManus and his wife Donna of Harrisburg, PA; sisters: Bernice McManus of Fairchance and Mary Jane Murray of CT; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the owner and staff of Fairfields Liberty Hall Personal Care Home and the staff of Amedysis Hospice of Uniontown, PA.      

Marie’s family will receive friends and family from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436 where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 AM on Friday, June 3, 2016.

Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in The Ss. Cyril & Methodious Roman Catholic Church 50 N. Morgantown Street, Fairchance, PA.

A Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
