Norma Jean Lowe

Norma Jean Lowe, Age 88 of Smithfield, PA passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on August 27, 1928 in Gilmore, PA, a daughter of William Lowe and Ruby (Kennison) Lowe.

She retired from Rockwell International after many years of service. Norma enjoyed bowling and participated in Rockwell’s Leagues for many years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and took pride in keeping her immaculate lawn.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Donald (Dale) Lowe Sr., Elsie Lowe, Dorothy Edwards, Billy Lowe, Ken Lowe, Herbert (H.J.) Lowe, Robert Lowe and Warren Lowe. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and the following sisters in law: Veronica (Roni) Lowe of Smithfield, PA, Arlene Lowe of Austintown, OH, Elizabeth Lowe of Uniontown, PA.  and Frances Lowe of Hazelton, WV.

Norma’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436 where her Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday with Pastor Michael Lyons, officiating. Interment to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, PA.
