Richard Lloyd Haines

 On, January 25, 2016, Richard L. Haines, son of Joseph Clarence Haines and Mildred Williams Haines died.  He was born on August 6th, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA.  Richard was a lifetime scholar with a dry witty sense of humor.  He graduated from Clairton High School in 1956 with high honors, winning a full scholarship to Carnegie Institute of Technology.  While at Carnegie Tech he joined the US Army Reserves, served for four years and was Honorably Discharged.  He graduated in 1960 with a degree in electrical engineering.  He continued in post-graduate work at Carnegie Tech and received a Masters Degree from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration.  Later, he went to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and received his Juris Doctorate.  He practiced Family Law in Pittsburgh. 

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his older sister, Virginia Ruth Haines and his older brother, Charles Edward Haines.  He is survived by his sisters Marian Haines Radosevich, and Joanne Haines Weber, along with many nieces and nephews.  There will be no visitation and interment will be private.

Richard’s professional funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436.
