Rose Marie (Orodny) Soblotny

Rose Marie Ogrodny Oktela Soblotney, age 89 of Uniontown, PA passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA, She was born on Friday, July 16, 1926 in Palmer, PA, a daughter of the late Alexandre Ogrodny and Antonia Loweiz Ogrodny.

She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church, Uniontown, PA.

Rose is survived by her husband Retired Sgt. Harry Lee Soblotney (USAF); children: Rose Marie Franchina and her husband Paul of Guntersville, AL, Deborah Lee Zaph of Uniontown, PA, Harry Dale Soblotney of Orlando FL, Larry Donn Soblotney and his wife Arlene of Hickory, NC; grandchildren: Rick Logan Zaph II of Masontown, PA, Eric Matthew Mendis of Apopka FL, Travis Joseph Mendis of Apopka, Fl, Shannon Marie Wolfgang and her husband Ryan of Orlando, FL; great grandchildren: Molly Jewel Mendis of Apopka, FL, Monica Rose Mendis of Apopka, FL, Arianna Rose Wolfgang of Orland FL, Ryder Charles Wolfgang of Orlando, FL; sisters: Antonette Davis of Palmer, PA, Emily Olesh of Ashville, NC, Anna Grant of Uniontown, PA.

A private viewing took place on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Rose was interred in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
