Arthur Lint Obituary

Arthur Hugh Lint, age 72 of Smithfield, PA passed away on August 21, 2018 in Uniontown Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born in Rosedale, PA on June 17, 1946 a son of Raymond Lint and Betty Fox Lint.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step father, Arnold Wilson.

Art was a member of the Little Brownfield Free Methodist Church in Hopwood where he was a member of the choir. He proudly served his country in the Army in Viet Nam. He was known for his great sense of humor, was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Art was an avid Sports fan. He played softball for many years and also spent many years coaching little league. As his children became involved in sports up through their college years, Art rarely missed a game. In later years, he enjoyed watching the Braves and Duke Basketball games.

Arthur is survived by his wife of thirty three years, Lois M. (Kennison) Lint; children: Jaime Kennison, Jarrod (Andrea) Lint, Jessica (Randy) McClelland, Dessie (Robert) Thomas, Rebecca (Marty) Hovanec, Charles (Wendy) Lint, and William “Scotty” Lint; grandchildren: Avery, Bradley, Emily, Harlee (Porkchop), Haylie, Jacob, Jaycee, John, Kayla, Robert, Sydney, Tanner, Timothy and Tristan; great grandchildren: Aiden, Ella Mae, Raelynn and Zander; brother, Robert (Cheryl) Lint; sister, Alene Davis.

Arthur’s family will receive friends on from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA. Additional visitation will take place on Sunday from Noon until 2 p.m., the hour of his funeral service with Rev. Charles O’Brien, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, PA. where full Military Rights and Honors will be accorded by the Hopwood Amvets Post 103.
