Betty D. Pishko

Betty D. (Hornsby) Pishko. age 84 of Uniontown, PA died at home, peacefully Thursday, May 17, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born January 7, 1928 in Smithfield, PA, a daughter of the late Viola Brink Hornsby. In addition to her mother Betty, was predeceased by her husband Joseph Pishko Jr. and a great granddaughter Megan Pishko. Surviving are nine children: Joseph Pishko III and his wife Marla of Clairton, PA, Larry Pishko and his wife Kathy of Ruffsdale, PA, Karen Leydig and her husband Charles of Uniontown, PA, Barbara Fields and her husband Wayne of Uniontown, PA, Debra Johnson and her husband Harry of Uniontown, PA, Valerie Barnard and her husband Chris of Brinson, GA, Michele Pinkney and her husband George of Leith PA, Kevin Pishko and his wife Denise of New Baltimore, MI and Gregory Pishko and his wife Kim of Boyton Beach, FL., Twenty five grandchildren and step grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, a brother: Wayne Astolis and his wife Ann of Dormont, PA. Betty's family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to: Aides Colleen and Diane with Your Comforting Care, Nurses Jessica and Pat and social worker Paula with Fayette Home Care and Pastor Lillian Sparks. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., John M. Fabry, Supervisor, 21 E. Church St., Fairchance, PA Additional visitation will take place Monday from 10 - 11 am, the time of the funeral service with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin and Pastor Lillian Sparks officiating.
