Carl L. Stasko

Carl L. Stasko, 94, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 28, 1918 to the late Charles and Mollie Stasko. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Dietrich) Cottrell Stasko; and by a great grandson Kindahl Cottrell. Carl was a graduate of South Hills High School in Pittsburgh and was employed by KDKA radio station and WPXI-TV before retirement in 1983 when he relocated to Roaring Brook Twp., Pa. He was a Past Master of Germania Masonic Lodge #509 and a World War II veteran serving in the Army Air Corps. Surviving are two step children, Charles Cottrell and his wife Ione and Susan Cottrell Beilman and her husband Henry, five grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, The family will receive friends and Masonic Brethren from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Pleasant Hills-Guthrie Lodge # 509, 455 East Bruceton Road, Pleasant Hills, PA.
