Gary Wayne Jordan

Gary Wayne Jordan 70 of Uniontown passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Preceding him in death is his late wife, Debbie; his parents, Albert and Ella Mae Franklin; grandson, Gary; brother, Randy; sisters: Dinky, Melody and Debbie; best friend PeeWee.

He is survived by his son Gary Jr. and wife Shellie; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gary was a simple man not needing or wanting much. His days spent watching his tv shows and football cheering for his favorite team, the Eagles when they played. Doing yard work or working on a vehicle project kept him happy. Looking forward to a visit with his friend Tina or having a snack bag prepared for his great nephew. Making dinners for his little buddy Doodles and talking on the phone with loved ones. Taking a ride to visit friends or family or just a quick trip to Byers Market for his 3 favorite supplies! Wink wink!!

Gary enlisted in the Marines at 17 and made his way back to his family during the Vietnam Conflict. He spent his life doing everything exactly the way he wanted to do and never let anyone direct him differently. His love for his family and late wife truly was just like his life, simple, pure and without hesitations.

Family and friends will honor him at a Graveside Service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024 with full military rites and honors being accorded by the George C. Marshall AMVETS, Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.

Gary’s professional funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Goldsboro Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., Fairchance, Pa.
