Gilbert D. White, jr

Gilbert D. White, Jr., age 54, of Finleyville, PA formerly of Elizabeth Twp. and Pleasant Hills, died on Wednesday October, 16, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 21, 1959, a son of the late Gilbert D. White, Sr. and Martha Ann McKinley White.

He is survived by a sister, Martha A. Fabry and her husband John of Fairchance, PA, a niece Erin Lynn Schumacher and her husband Stephen of Upper Arlington, OH; nephew; Christopher "C.J." Fabry of Jefferson Hills, PA; great nephew Nicholas and great niece Elizabeth. Gilbert was a member of the Library V.F.D. Friends will be received in the Griffith Funeral Home, Inc. 5636 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh (Broughton - Curry - South Park Twp), PA on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11 am in the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road, Pleasant Hills, PA with Rev. Sharon Stewart and Rev. Carolyn Cranston officiating. Interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. Professional Funeral Services have been entrusted to the Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. 21 E.
