Helen M. Cunningham

Helen Marie (Davis) Cunningham, age 95, formerly of Fairchance, PA passed away Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2015 with her loving family by her side in Schenley Gardens, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on March 5, 1920 in George's Twp., a daughter of Albert Davis and Bessie Myers Davis.

Helen Marie (Davis) Cunningham, age 95, formerly of Fairchance, PA passed away Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2015 with her loving family by her side in Schenley Gardens, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on March 5, 1920 in George's Twp., a daughter of Albert Davis and Bessie Myers Davis.

 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James "Smokey" Cunningham; son, Vernon Cunningham. Helen was the last surviving of eight siblings.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann Glasser and her husband Robert of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughters: Shelli Banko and her husband Vic of Irvine CA and Jamie Gurganus and her husband Clay of Ames Iowa. Great grandchildren: Jenn, Joe, Alex & Alyia.

 

Helen's family will receive friends in The Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, PA on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 11 am until 1 pm, the hour of her funeral service with Chaplain Eric Hertzog, officiating.
