Ida D. Campbell

Ida D. (Stair) Campbell, age 76, of Cheat Lake, WV formerly of Fairchance, PA died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV of brain cancer. She was born October 21, 1936 in Mill Run, PA a daughter of the Ferd and Anna Marino Stair. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Richard Stair and two special aunts: Nellie and Virginia Stair, who helped raise her. Ida is survived by her beloved husband J. Robert Campbell; her brother, John Stair and his wife Fay of Atlanta, GA; sister Marlene Stair Sipe and her husband Darwin of California; brother in law Raymond Campbell and his wife Sandy; Sisters in law Patricia Stair, Georgia Gray, Thelma Stone and Shirley Smith who was one of her care givers and like a sister; nieces: Lori, Dana and a special niece Meloney, who she loved like a daughter; nephews William, Richard and S. Anthony; also many additional nieces and nephews. She had many beloved friends that she enjoyed spending time with, Maxine, Janet, Rita R., Bev, Ina Mae, Linda, Murf, Rita S and many more. She was a graduate of the Uniontown School of Nursing working as an RN for 35 years. She worked for Doctors Larkin and Jin also, Doctors Bloss & Reilly Surgical Associates. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 11 am to 1 pm the hour of the service with Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating in The Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 21 E. Church St., Fairchance, PA, John M. Fabry, Supervisor, J. Michael Fisher, Funeral Director.
