Dear, Dearest Edna and Family ..... Richard just called me this morning (7-9-15!) and the shock still has hold of my heart. Our precious Lord needed another 'angel' .... how saddened I am to have missed all the services in Jim's honor. Only God knows 'why' I was not to have known. I dearly loved Jim and I know you, Edna, knew this. How lucky we all were to have known his quick wit, generous smile and precious huge heart. Until we all meet one another, as Jesus has promised, my memories of him will always be treasured in my heart.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of our beloved candy man. He made childhood a little sweeter. He called me Babe and he was my Sweets.i hope you know that his faith and love made a difference in the lives of his Calvary Baptist kids. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Judy, It's never easy to say goodbye, especially to a Dad who was such a loving and caring parent and a "good" man. We are sending our prayers, knowing that Jim is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our thought are with your Mom, sisters and families, Jay, your children and you as you all begin this week of celebration of Jim's life on earth and the loving memories you have of him.
