Janet Marie (Showalter) Mansberry

Janet Marie Showalter Mansberry, age 75, a life long resident of Brownfield, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Uniontown, a daughter of Ralph and Alma McGregor Showalter.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mansberry; granddaughter, Jalisa; great grandson, Joshua; brothers: Cloyd Showalter and Melvin Showalter.

Janet is survived by her daughters: Judy (James) Yanik, Jill Mansberry, Jonica Mansberry; grandchildren: James Yanik, Felica Mansberry, Jaynel Yanik, Adalaide Kazimer; great grandchildren: Destanee, Morgan, Deyjah, Elijah, Hayden; several nieces and nephews.

She was a nurse for more than 40 years and a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She loved crocheting, reading, traveling and most of all her family. She had a big heart, her children and grandchildren wanted for nothing.

Janet’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA where her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with Pastor Michael Lyons, officiating.
