John Wayne Brandt

John Wayne Brandt, 76, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on April 9, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1949, in Warsaw, Virginia.

John proudly served his country in Vietnam and was a committed member of IUPE Local 66, Operating Engineers for over forty years. His years of hard work left a lasting mark on the many job sites where he established many friendships.

John is survived by two daughters and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Katherine Brandt and dear brother, George Dennis Brandt. 

A graveside service with full military rights and honors will be accorded by the George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 108 of Hopwood  at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA, on Wednesday, April 30th at 2:30 p.m.
