John Edward Roberts

John Edward Roberts, age 65, of Gibsonia, PA died January 9, 2015. He was born on June 27, 1949 in Phillipsburg, PA, a son of Robert William Roberts and Ruth (Webb) Roberts.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: Robert William Roberts and Allen Keith Roberts.

John is survived by his sisters: Margaret Frisbee, Mary Roberts and Barbara Roberts Phillips.

His family are members of the First United Methodist of Houtzdale, PA. John graduated from Houtzdale High School and lived in the area for many years with his mother. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Viet Nam era. 

John was interred in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA on February 3, 2015 with full Military Honors. His burial was accomplished through the combined efforts of the Missing In America Project and the Dignified Burial and other Veteran’s Benefits Improvement Act of 2012.

John’s funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA.
