Joseph P. Mikluscak

Joseph Patrick Mikluscak, age 65, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at home with his loving family at his bedside. He was born March 23, 1946 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Joseph A. Mikluscak and Julia Horwath Mikluscak. Joseph was a member of George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., and a Lifetime Member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen's Club. He was an avid hunter, golfer and fisherman and a great Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was predeceased by his parents and an infant sister, Julia Ann Mikluscak. Surviving are his wife, Lyda 'Belle' (Croce) Mikluscak; a son, Joseph P. Mikluscak Jr. and his wife Morgan of Gainsville, Virginia; daughter, Andrea M. Dorobish and her husband John of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandchildren: Cole and Karly Dorobish, Corbin and Finley Mikluscak; sisters: Monica Dubos and husband Larry of Uniontown, Pa., and Borgia Markovich and her husband Fred, Fayette City, Pa brothers: George Mikluscak and wife Stella of Uniontown, Michael Mikluscak of Osprey, Florida, Andrew Mikluscak and wife Beverly of Omaha, Nebraska, Thomas Mikluscak and his wife Jill of Uniontown, Pa. Also surviving are many special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC. at 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today January 1, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, January 2, 2012 until 9:15 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa., with Msgr. Michael W. Matusak, V.F., Pastor, as Celebrant. Interment follows in Mount Washington Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Farmington Pa. Military Rites will be accorded at graveside by the George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
