Marie E. (Gazik) Byrnes, age 96 of Levittown, PA formerly of Collier died Saturday March 1, 2014. Marie was born on August 7, 1917 in Collier, a daughter of Adam J. and Mary Plichta Gazik.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Joseph Byrnes; brothers: Adam and Joseph Gazik and sister Ann Biggs.

Marie is survived by her son, Michael E. Byrnes Sr. and his wife Joan of Langhorne, Pa; two grandchildren: Michael E. Byrnes Jr. of Newtown, PA, Karen Ann Del Rosso and her husband Vincent of Levittown, PA; two great grandchildren: Caitlin & Patrick Byrnes; sister: Margaret Iacomini of Lakeland, FL.

The family will receive friends on Friday (March 7, 2014) from 6-8 pm in the Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436, John M. Fabry, Supervisor. Additional visitation will take place Saturday until 1:00 pm when Prayers of Transfer will be held in the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass follows at 1:30 pm in Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 50 N. Morgantown St., Fairchance, PA with Father Jaime S. Ozoa as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fairchance, PA. A Wake Service will be held Friday at 7:45 pm in the Funeral Home.
