Linda C. Mitchell

Linda C. Mitchell, age 68, formerly of Fairchance and Uniontown, PA died on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Uniontown, PA. Linda went to be with Jesus and her mother. She was born May 11, 1945, a daughter of Edith P. (McKinney) and Gus E. Mitchell.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Max E. Mitchell Sr.

Linda is survived by her sister, Betty Grimm of Fairchance, nephew: David , niece: Susan; sister in law Marie Mitchell; nieces: Sally, Bonnie and Patty.

Linda's family would like to extend a special thank you to Rev. Eugene and Ida Cowsert for their many deeds of kindness, her church family and dear friends: Chris, Mary Kay, Emily, Caroline, Debbie, Idette and Donnie.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at The Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 21 E. Church St., Fairchance, PA, John M. Fabry, Supervisor and Friday until 10 am the time of the funeral service with Rev. Pete Malik and Rev. Eugene Cowsert officiating. Interment to follow at the Pleasant View I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithfield, PA.
