Lloyd Martin Tennyson

Lloyd Martin Tennyson, age 96 of Arlington, VA, formerly of Fairchance passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2023 in the Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, VA. He was born on January 2, 1927 in Mayville, ND, a son of Alfred and Julia Huseby Tennyson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Olive Joanna Cole Tennyson; brothers: Larry, Roy, Alfred; sisters: Helen, Marion, Adrian; son-in-law, Chris Cobb.

He is survived by his children: Dirk D. Tennyson of Arlington, VA, Bonnie L. Cobb of Edgewater, MD, Keith W. Tennyson of Arlington, VA, Kevin W. Tennyson of Frederick MD, Donna Yauger of Arlington, VA; two grandchildren: Curtis Cobb and Travis Cobb, both of Edgewater, MD; two great grandchildren: Stella and Levi Cobb; siblings: Dolly Dye, Donald Tennyson; niece, Donna Yauger.

Lloyd proudly served his country in the U S Navy.

Lloyd’s family will receive friends today (Wednesday, November 8, 2023) from Noon until 2 p.m. the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Michale Lyons, officiating in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA.

Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
