Lois Nestor

Lois (Showalter) Nestor age 82, formerly of Brownfield, PA died Monday, November 25, 2013 in Golden Living Center, Uniontown, PA with her loving family by her side.

She was born October 18, 1931 in Shoaf, PA a daughter of James C. Showalter and Ida Belle (Dancer) Showalter.

In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin R. Nestor; brothers: Ralph and Wayne C. Showalter.

Lois is survived by her loving children: Matthew M. Nestor and his companion Andriea Swentko of Uniontown, PA, Bonny R. VanKirk and her companion Paul Sisk of Hopwood, PA, and Marty S. Nestor and his wife Judy of Smithfield, PA; granddaughter Holly VanKirk and her fiancé© Jason Smith of Uniontown, PA; great grandsons: Derek and Tyler; sisters: Alice Swift and Edith Nestor of Pittsburgh, PA; several nieces and nephews; special family friend and ex son in law Bill VanKirk.

The family would like to thank the staff of Golden Living Center for the special compassionate care shown to Lois.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 29, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in The Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 21 E. Church St., Fairchance, PA., John M. Fabry, Supervisor (724-564-2010). Additional visitation to take place in the funeral home Saturday morning until 10 am, the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Chuck McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, PA.
