Loretta Jean (Hollis) DeLorenzo 73, of Uniontown, PA passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, January 18, 2013 in Uniontown Hospital. She was born in Smithfield, a daughter of John R. and Emily R. (Clark) (Tate) Hollis on June 28, 1939.
Mrs. DeLorenzo was a homemaker and an active member of the Collier Vol. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was predeceased by her husband Louis Francis DeLorenzo Jr., a sister, Clara Bella Hanzes, who recently passed away January 9, 2013; brothers, Gerald Tate and Elmer Tate; sister in law, Shelvia Hollis, and a nephew, Billy Brant.
She is survived by her children: Kimberly Vitari and her husband Mick of Avella, PA, Donna Zahron and her husband Larry of Uniontown, Jenean DeLorenzo of Fairchance, Bernie Lewis and her husband Kenny of Uniontown, Louis F. DeLorenzo III and his wife Beth of Cambridge, OH, William J. DeLorenzo and his wife Jennifer of Uniontown, and Elizabeth DeLorenzo; 16 Grandchildren; 7 Great grandchildren; sisters: Viola McDonough of Collier, Salina Brant and her husband William of Collier, Juanita Bartok and her husband Frank of Strongsville, OH, Linda Makepeace and her husband Ed of Perryopolis, Rose Barnhart of Collier. Also surviving, a brother Robert Hollis of Collier.
Family and friends will be received Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 4-7pm at the Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436, John M. Fabry, Supervisor. Additional visitation on Monday from 10 - 11 am the hour of the Funeral Service with Paster Ken Walls officiating. Followed by interment at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Loretta to U.P.M.C. Cancer Center, 100 Woodlawn Ave., Suite 300, Uniontown, PA 15401.
