Marian R. Elek

Marian R. (Webster) Elek, 87, of Upper Arlington, OH, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH. She was born February 23, 1925 in Bedford, Ohio, a daughter of David and Mildred Dunham Webster. In addition to her parents Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. Elek, Sr. in 2005 and her twin sister Mildred Mae Eggers. She is survived by her children: Jesse L. Elek Jr. and his wife June of Hillard, Ohio and Carol Ann Carr and her husband William of Upper Arlington, Ohio; brother: Donald Webster and his wife Helen of Streetsboro, Ohio; four grandchildren: Kelly McKillip and her husband Ron, Kevin Carr and wife Carolyn, Tracy Kameoka and her husband Ichero, Nikki Griffin and husband Joshua; five great grandchildren: Liam, Benjamin, Nicholas, Gavin, Zoey; nieces: Beverly Everett and Joyce Zwartz; nephew: David Webster; great niece and numerous friends. Marian was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Upper Arlington, Ohio and the Miriam Circle at the church. The family will receive friends in the Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., John M. Fabry, Supervisor, 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436 Friday 6-8 pm and Saturday December 29, 2012 until 10 am the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Sharyn Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, WV.
