Martha A. White

Martha A. (McKinley) White, age 88, of Elizabeth Twp., formerly of Pleasant Hills, died on Thursday, November 15, 2012 with her loving family by her side at Jefferson Regional Hospital. She was born in Monongahela, PA on March 16, 1924 a daughter of William L. and Margaret S. (Hamilton) McKinley. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert D. "Whitey" White, Sr., a brother William L. McKinley, Jr. and a sister Margaret Lillico. She is survived by a daughter, Martha A. Fabry and her husband John of Fairchance, PA and a son, Gilbert D. White Jr. of Elizabeth Twp.; granddaughter Erin L. Schumacher and her husband Dr. Stephen of Upper Arlington OH; grandson Christopher "C.J." Fabry of Jefferson Hills, PA; great grandchildren Nicholas and Elizabeth Schumacher; sisters: Jane Wright of Washington, PA and Pat DeSantis of Trinity, FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, 1701 State Rte 51, (Large) Jefferson Hills, PA on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Martha was a member of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road, Pleasant Hills where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11 am with Pastor Sharon Stewart officiating (Everyone please meet at the church).
