Mary Jane Elizabeth (Glavanic) Smith

Mary Jane Elizabeth (Glavanic) Smith, age 72 of Smithfield, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 in Uniontown Hospital.. She was born in Pittsburgh on November 13, 1944 a daughter of Edward Marko Glavanic and  Genieve Zitney Glavanic.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her children, Bentley Clayborne Smith and Jolene-Jennifer Angel Smith.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Ivan J. Smith, II; children:  Yvette Marie Wheeler (Kip) of Smithfield, Ivan J. Smith, III (Jennifer) and their two sons: Lakota and Storm of Royal and Christina Smith (Tim) of Smithfield; several step children; 23 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren including a special great great granddaughter, Brandy McGowan, whom she raised.

She was a member of St Mary’s (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown. She was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa of SUNY Morrisville..

In honoring Mary Jane’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Mary Jane’s professional funeral services have been entrusted to The Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., Fairchance, PA.
