Robert W. David

Robert W. David age 84, of Uniontown, PA died Sunday, December 1, 2013 at home with his loving son by his side.

He was born November 17, 1929 in Uniontown, PA a son of Joseph L. and Marie Elizabeth Brown David.

In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis June David; brothers: Joseph H. and John E. David; sister; Joyce P. Barbee.

Bob is survived by his two sons: Robert L. David of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and Christopher A. David of Ubly, Michigan; grandchildren: Anthony, Cody and Jessie; Brother: Donald David and his wife, June of Glassport, PA; Bob was a loving and supportive presence in the lives of Billie Lukehart and Donna Flannery, their children and family.

Bob had a thirty nine plus year employment with Ford Motor Company. He attained a position of President of U.A.W. Local 1250 at the Cleveland Engine Plant. He progressed to a position of administrative assistant to the V.P. National Ford U.A.W. Solidarity House in Detroit, Michigan.

The family will receive friends today from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in The Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 21 E. Church St., Fairchance, PA., John M. Fabry, Supervisor (724-564-2010). Additional visitation will take place on Wednesday until 11 am the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Vince Cable officiating. Private interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, PA.
