Robert K. Hughs

Robert K. Hughs, age 91, of Beechwood Court, Uniontown, and formerly of Smithfield, Pa., died on Saturday, January 21, 2012. He was born August 11, 1920 in Fairchance, Pa., the son of the Ray Hughs and Clara (Kurtz) Hughs. Robert was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Bess Robinson Hughs. Surviving are two daughters: Patricia H. Dumont and her husband Robert J. of Lorton, Virginia and Lou Ann Collier and husband Daniel J., Berlin, Pa.; grandchildren: Gregory Dumont and his wife Zanna, Kimberly Middleton and her husband Jason, D a n i e l E. Collier, and Meghan Zanelli and her husband Martin; four great grandchildren: Maxwell and Sarah Middleton, Sarah and Daniel Collier; and sister, Arline Darr Cunningham and husband George of Fairchance The Hughs family wishes to give thankful appreciation to the employees of Beechwood Court and the Albert Gallatin Hospice Staff. Friends will be received at the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 until 10 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Jay Hurley and the Rev. Donald E. Walls officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa. Military Rights will be accorded at the graveside by George C.
