.Roberta Ellen "Bertie" (Tantlinger) Pegg, age 72, of Georges Twp., Uniontown, PA passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. She was born in Uniontown on August 9, 1942 a daughter of Robert Tantlinger and Caroline (Rist) Tantlinger.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Ralph L. Pegg and a special K-9 buddy, Teddie.
Surviving are her seven children: Ralph Lee Pegg, II and his wife, Rana, Thomas Robert Pegg and his wife, Kim, Mark David Pegg, Timothy Cameron Pegg and his wife Johnna, Cindy Ann Kopas and her husband Jeff, Christopher Allen Pegg and his wife Mary Ann, Amy Beth Sapp and her husband Michael. Daughter in law, Karen Pegg; Grandchildren: Ashley and Bud Hendricks, Rachael Pegg and her fiancé© Justin Garee, Nicole Pegg, Taylor and Dan Kimmell, Summer Pegg, Kaylee Pegg, Mark Pegg, Jr., Leeanne Pegg, Timothy Pegg Jr. and his wife, Jasmine, Mitchell Pegg and his wife Angela, Jeffrey Kopas Jr., Patrick Kopas who is on active duty at Fort Hood, TX, Elise Kopas, Brandon Pegg, Austin Pegg, Carissa Pegg, Carson Pegg, Michael Sapp, Bethany Sapp, Megan Sapp and Jacob Sapp; great grandchildren: Kaden, Landen, Trystin, Arieanna, Danie Lynn, Ryan and Aubrey; sister: Charlotte (Tantlinger) Spaw and her husband Harold; brothers: Robert "Tank" Tantlinger, and his wife, Linda, David Tantlinger and his wife, Lois; special nieces and nephews: Shellie Tantlinger, Jonathan Tantlinger and Erin Tantlinger; and many, many other nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Bertie's greatest joy came from time spent with her family. No better day for her existed than one in which she could enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and something she baked with them.
Roberta's family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8pm, Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA. Her funeral service will take place Saturday morning at 10:30 am in the Walnut Hill United Methodist Church (Everyone please meet at the church) with Pastors Arnold Husk and Kenneth Rockwell, officiating. Interment to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
