Sarah Mae "Nanny" Donaldson

Sarah Mae (Cox) "Nanny" Donaldson, age 82, of Uniontown, PA passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 19, 1931 in Nemours, WV the only child of late Ray S. and Helen Hale Cox, later moving to Pennsylvania.

Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John "Jack" Donaldson; and only daughter, Linda Jill Yokobosky.

A member of the Brownfield U.M. Church, Sunday school teacher, helped in VBS, previous Pres. of Willing Workers Sunday School Class, Pres. of U.M.W. and held other official offices in the church. Former Girl Scout leader and committee of the Boy Scouts, A G Boosters for football and wrestling, Her hobbies were sewing, quilting, camping, gardening, cooking, baking, vacationing and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son: Jackie R. Donaldson and his wife, Norma of Fairchance, PA; Son in law John Yokobosky and friend Colleen of Uniontown, PA; Grandchildren: Tina Bittinger and husband Greg of Smithfield, Jillynda Kozak and husband Mike of Uniontown, Jason Donaldson and wife Emily of Uniontown, Matthew Donaldson of Fairchance, Michael Donaldson and fiancé©e Ashleigh of Fairchance, David Barnhart and wife Crystal of Fairchance, and other step grand children, Lisa Murray and husband Jack of Virginia Beach, VA, Nathan Jun Yokobosky and wife Brittany of Montgomery, Alabama; Great grandchildren: Melissa and husband Dan, Megan, Gregory, Wyatt, Kelsie, Amelia, Hailey, Kylee, April and husband Nick, Jack and fiancé©e Ashley, Tyler, Annalynn, Emmaleigh, Alyvia, Johnathan, and Luke; many great great grandchildren, whom all she cherished.

Sarah's family will receive friends today from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc. 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA, John M. Fabry, Supervisor. Additional visitation will take place Saturday at the Brownfield U.M. Church, Brownfield, PA from 10 until 11 am, the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Diane Olson, officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA
