Vivian Joyce (Bowlen) Bricker

Vivian Joyce Bowlen Bricker, age 78, of Fairchance, PA, passed peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, at WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA. She was born October 21, 1947, in Fairchance, PA, daughter of the late Harry Bowlen, Jr. and Adeline Harbarger Bowlen.

Vivian was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Bricker; her father, Harry Bowlen, Jr.; her mother, Adeline Harbarger Bowlen; one sister, Joan Walters; three brothers, Harry Bowlen III, Cameron Bowlen, and Thomas Bowlen; and one nephew, Scott Alan Bowlen.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Bricker David and husband, Floyd, of Fairchance, PA; and two beloved granddaughters, Brittany David of Lepeer, Michigan and Charley Ann David of Fairchance, PA.

Her granddaughters, Brittany and Charley Ann were the light of her life. She loved and adored them beyond measure and cherished every moment spent with them. They brought her endless joy, laughter, and pride, and she treasured watching them grow. Her love for them was constant and unconditional, and they held a very special place in her heart.

Surviving siblings include Gladys Bowman of Smithfield, PA; Jean Yauger and husband, William, of Lemont Furnace, PA; Donna Nicklow of Uniontown, PA; and sister-in-law, Susan Bowlen of Fairchance, PA.

She is also survived by her loving nieces, Rachel Bowlen and Danielle Nicklow, who held a special place in her heart, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, PA, on Sunday, March 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday, March 30, 2026, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Kevin Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, PA.
