Walter "Tim" Campbell

Walter “Tim” Campbell, age 76 of Georges Twp., passed away on August 9, 2019 at his home. He was born on June 14, 1943 a son of Azle and Florence Williams Campbell.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Robert; grandson, Nathan Campbell; great grandson, Carter Seese; siblings: Albert Campbell, Wilbur Campbell, Woodrow Campbell, John Campbell, Harry Campbell, Alverta Myers, Carole Wilson.

Tim was employed for 30 years at Maple Creek Mine and was a member of Local Union 1248.

Tim was survived by his wife of 57 years,  Patty Tait Campbell; children: Tim (Debbie) Campbell, Dan (Danna) Campbell, Tom (Cindy) Campbell, Patricia “Sissy” (Bill) Johnson;  20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Dotty) Campbell; sister, Dorothy Hughs; daughter in law, Suzanne Campbell; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Luke Burke.

Tim’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436. where additional visitation will take place on Tuesday from 9 – 10 a.m., the hour of his funeral service with Pastor Michael Lyons, officiating. Interment will be private.
