Garnet Grace (McKenzie) McNatt

Garnet Grace (McKenzie) Zack McNatt, age 87 of Hopwood, formerly of Fairchance passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 21, 1929 in Fairchance, a daughter of Chester H. McKenzie and Mary May Guthrie McKenzie.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra L. McKenzie; son, Paul W. McKenzie who passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016; brother, Chester F. McKenzie; sisters: Myrtle Kelly, Violet Berdar, Lillie Cole, Alice McKenzie and Bessie Bartko.

Garnet is survived by her daughters: Cynthia L. Turner and her husband William of Williamsport, MD, Sherry D. McKenzie of Hopwood, PA; grandchildren: Jamie A. Turner, Jason S. Turner, Tonya L. Evans and Star D. Evans; great grandson, Bodie Turner; several nieces and nephews.

Garnet’s family will receive friends on Monday, December 19, 2016 in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of her funeral service with Pastor Michael Lyons, officiating.  Interment to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
