Gladys Marie (McGregor) Showalter

Gladys Marie (McGregor) Showalter, age 90, of Brownfield, PA went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Horizon Personal Care Home, Fairchance, PA. She was born on April 25, 1926 in North Union Twp., Fayette County, PA, a daughter of Newton McGregor and Almira Ringer McGregor.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Wayne C. Showalter; two sons: Timothy Lee Showalter and Wayne L. Showalter; Sister, Alma Showalter; three brothers: Earl McGregor, Melvin McGregor and Howard Blosser;

Gladys is survived by her two sons: Mervin Showalter and his wife Margi of Smock, Jeffrey and his wife Sherry of Addison; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; daughter in law, Ellen Carlson Showalter.

She was a member of the Brownfield United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Gladys-Rebekah Lodge 103 since 1951.

Gladys’ family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, PA. Additional visitation will take place on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 10-11 a.m., the hour of her funeral service.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, PA.
