Lucille Marie (Pitts) Back

Lucille Marie (Pitts) Back, age 83 of York Run, PA passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 4, 1933 in Fayette County a daughter of Edward Pitts and Maggie Powell Pitts.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Back; son, Terry Lee Back; brothers: Homer Pitts, William Pitts and Paul Pitts; sister, Sarah Alberts.

She was a member of The Church of God NU, Uniontown, PA

She is survived by her son, Daryl Lynn Back of York Run and grandchildren: Warren Trent Back and his wife Wendy of Indianapolis, Indiana, Laura Adams and her husband Matthew of Geneva, Indiana,

Brother, Joseph Pitts of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Frankie Colucci of Uniontown; many nieces and nephews.

Lucille’s family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Goldsboro-Fabry Funeral Home, Inc., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA. Additional visitation will take place on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 10 –11 AM the hour of her funeral service in the Church of God, UN, 1089 Pittsburgh Road (Rte 51), Uniontown, PA with Rev. Elliott Leighty, officiating. Interment to follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
